Our Podiatrists:
Liya Janali BHSc (Podiatry)
My interest in Podiatric Medicine comes from my own previous visits to a podiatrist when I was a child born with mild flat feet. Given the nature of my feet, I had endured significant pain in my feet, legs and knees. Thankful for several visits to a podiatrist which not only alleviated my suffering from pain in my lower limbs but also gave me a path to a career in Podiatry. I have developed interest in cosmetic podiatry, sports podiatry, podiatric minor surgeries including nail surgeries and diabetic foot assessment and management. In my spare time I enjoy tramping, swimming, reading books and socializing with friends and family.

Kal Zullal BHSc (Podiatry) BHSc (Pub Health)
Unfortunately Kal was called to rest in January 2021. Our dearest Kal has left behind a void but his legacy, commitment and service to his patients will live on forever. May he always be remembered!
I started practicing podiatry since 2012. My first job as a podiatrist began in the Bay of Plenty (Tauranga) where I was involved in dealing mostly with diabetic foot assessment and management. Later on I moved to Hamilton, where I got involved in dealing with sports and biomechanical injuries. My main interest in Podiatry lies in the treatment of and management of walking and sports related injuries, woundcare, podiatrict surgeries (including ingrown toenail surgeries, warts and verruca excision and foreign body removal). While I love dealing with complex podiatric conditions, I love the diversity I come across everyday and seeing my patients recover from pain and injuries.
